Council Payments

The District Council of Coober Pedy offers different payment methods:

In Person:

Present at the Council Administration Office at Lot 773 Hutchison Street, Coober Pedy with your Account. Payment methods available are Cash, EFTPOS or Credit Card (MasterCard or VISA), Cheque and Money Order. Payments can be made Monday to Friday 9:00am - 4:30pm. 

Payment by Direct Debit:

Please contact Councils Administration Office on 08 8672 4600 for your account details and necessary information.

Payment by EFT:

BSB: 035-078         Acc: 270262

Reference: (Your account Number)

E.g. Elect (ES#), Water (WS#), Rates (A#), Sundry Debtors (D# or Invoice #), Child Care Fees (CFee + Last Name of account holder)  

This service is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week via phone or your online banking

Payment by Council website:

You can pay your accounts in real time with BPOINT, payment methods MasterCard, Visa, Masterpass or Union Pay

Call Council on 08 8672 4600 Monday to Friday 9:00am - 5:00pm

Payment by Post:

Post your payment slip or account details with your cheque or money order or credit card details on back of payment slip. Cheque and money orders need to be made payable to District Council of Coober Pedy.

Payment by Centrepay Deductions

Customers receiving Centrelink payment are welcome to pay any of their Council accounts through the Centrepay scheme.
